About

I am a wandering wordsmith and former educator who loves helping others meet their writing and content goals. Originally from rural Idaho, my travels have brought me to over 30+ countries. I'm passionate about writing, photography, culture, and language. 

I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics from UMASS Boston and a BA in English from Boise State University. After completing an exchange program in China, I began working as an English & EAL teacher in Taipei in 2010 before moving to Singapore to be a literacy specialist three years later. In 2017, I moved to Johor Bahru, Malaysia to work as an EAL specialist and language program coordinator. I moved to Izmir, Turkey in 2019 and began working as a teacher before becoming a content specialist.

I have been a writing coach and editor since 2004, helping students and professionals publish their work in academic journals. I have extensive experience in developing curriculum, working with diverse populations, and meeting clients where they are at.
